A trip to Casa & Playa Blanca begins in Cancun, an easy travel day from most points and serviced by all major airlines. Once in Cancun, guests are met by Andrea Solidoro or a lodge representative and helped to board the quick charter flight to the lodge. The private charter is approximately 45 minutes south, passing above the beautiful Mayan Riviera and the resort areas of Playa del Carmen and Tulum.
The Casa Blanca lodge airstrip is approximately 3 minutes by boat from the main lodge. Upon arrival lodge staff welcomes guests with cold margaritas or limeade, and those guests bound for Playa Blanca to the south will board a safari style truck for the 30-minute ride to the lodge. The ride winds along the island beachfront and is an adventure in itself.
A note on travelling within the Yucatan: the Mayan Riviera is the crown jewel in Mexico’s tourism crown and absolutely safe. Millions of travelers pass through the area every year without incident.
