Fishing Report – April 12–19, 2025

Mid-April brought strong tides, sunny skies, and a renewed sense of excitement to Casa Blanca. With water temperatures climbing just past 80°F and consistent east winds averaging 10 mph, conditions aligned for some truly special moments on the flats.

At Casa Blanca, Matthew and Gordon connected with a permit on the first morning — a quick start that set the tone for the week. Over the next few days, bonefish filled in with reliable action, and a few tarpons made brief but thrilling appearances in the deeper channels.

This week also welcomed a group of returning guests. Their stories, patience, and respect for the fish added a special rhythm to each day. “Every trip is different,” one of them said. “That’s what keeps us coming back.”

The fish bring us here — the rest brings us back

When experience, nature, and tradition come together, something bigger than fishing happens. We’re honored to be part of it.
