Fishing March 18th – 25th

Weekly Fishing Lodge Update

During the week we had favorable weather starting the week with a southeast wind of 6 to 8 knots on Sunday, which was the best fishing day, for the rest of the week the weather changed completely with northeast winds of 18 to 22 knots.

Unfortunately we were not able to go fishing on Monday, the conditions were not suitable, the weather did not improve during the week, however, the guides and clients did the best they could.

The anglers were a group of Texans, led by Mr. Rusty they were mainly pomfret fishing. At the weekend, they managed to catch 2 pomfrets. Mike Thom also visited us, an angler who is well known for fishing all week in the lagoons: Tupac, Santa Rosa and Laguna del Sábalo. Mike prefers to fish tarpon and barracudas in the lagoon. He caught a record 19 barracudas in a week!

The groups left midweek, everyone was very happy with the service and Casa Blanca’s staff.
